Makkah Royal Clock Tower
The Makkah Royal Clock Tower, part of the Abraj Al Bait complex, is a marvel of modern engineering and Islamic architecture. Standing at a height of 601 metres, it is one of the tallest buildings in the world and the tallest clock tower. The clock, adorned with the words of Takbeer (Allah Akbar), is a beacon for Muslims worldwide, especially during prayer times when it lights up in green and white. The Clock Tower complex also houses the Makkah Royal Clock Tower Museum, which offers visitors a unique insight into Islamic history and the significance of time in Islam.
