Masjid Suqya/Suqya Well
Masjid Suqya is located inside the Anbariya train station. The Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him) stopped here on his way to the Battle of Badr, performed ablution, offered prayer, and supplicated for the dwellers of Madinah.
During the Caliphate of Umar (May Allah be pleased with him), Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib (May Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet’s uncle, was asked to lead the Istisqa prayer (prayer for rain) here.
Just outside the station’s boundary wall was a well that belonged to Saad ibn Abi Waqqas (May Allah be pleased with him). The Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him) used this water to perform ablution and drink.
