Al-Hudabiah

Al-Hudabiah, located 22 km west of the Grand Mosque, is a site of immense historical and religious significance. It was here that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and 1,400 of his companions were prevented from performing Umrah by the Quraysh, leading to the signing of the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah. This treaty, which eventually led to the peaceful conquest of Makkah, is a pivotal event in Islamic history. The site is also where the companions pledged their loyalty to the Prophet (peace be upon him) in what is known as the Bayat Al-Ridwan, an event mentioned in the Quran.
