Masjid Mustarah
Masjid Mustarah, located on the way back from Mount Uhud to Madinah, is where the Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him) rested upon returning from the Battle of Uhud. The word “Mustarah” means “place of rest.”
This mosque serves as a reminder of the Prophet’s (Peace and blessings be upon him) human needs and the compassion he showed towards his companions. It is also a place where Muslims can reflect on the hardships faced by the Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him) and his followers during the early days of Islam.
